Swadeshi Mela 2025: A Wonderful Confluence of National Culture and Unity

The Swadeshi Mela 2025, held in Dwarka this year, emerged as a symbol of the nation's rich culture, tradition, and self-reliance. Participants from approximately 15 states—Jharkhand, Kolkata, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Mizoram, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and other states—set up stalls at the fair, conveying a beautiful message of unity in diversity.

Homemade earthen lamps, kurta-pajamas, sarees, jackets, local restaurants, plant nurseries, jewelry, and Rajasthani and South Indian cuisine were among the highlights of the fair.

During this seven-day event, media journalists who brought the fair's news to the public daily were honored on stage. Schoolchildren were also encouraged by receiving certificates based on their talents.

The program featured a special presentation of the cultural tableau of the Maa Nanda Devi Yatra by the NRIs of Uttarakhand, presented by Brajesh Notiyal of the Garhwali, Kumaon, and Jaan Sari Bhasha Academy, Government of Delhi.

The most inspiring moment came when Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) volunteers, dressed in uniform, performed on musical instruments, conveying a powerful message of Hindu unity and Swadeshi spirit.

Regional and national artists from various states presented a magnificent display of their art from the stage. Sanskrit dance, folk songs, and traditional performances made the program unforgettable.

At the closing ceremony, chief guests, national and regional public representatives were honored, who praised the event, saying, "The Swadeshi Mela not only strengthens the country's cultural identity but has also transformed into a mass movement towards a self-reliant India."

The fair became a living example of the country's diversity, unity, and Swadeshi pride.
