Chemicals are everywhere in the Meghnagar area. A massive movement to save lives against toxic factories.

Under the aegis of the District Congress Committee, Jhabua, a massive movement against chemical factories in Meghnagar is being organized on September 27, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Agricultural Produce Market, Meghnagar (behind the police station).

This massive movement is adversely affecting human life, animals, birds, trees, plants, and crops in the 10-kilometer area surrounding Meghnagar and Jhabua blocks. Chemical waste from the Meghnagar industrial area is poisoning water sources, killing animals and birds, and making breathing difficult for humans.

The movement is being organized around these key points.

These will be involved in the movement.

Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee President Jitu Patwari, All India Congress Committee, and All India Congress Committee will participate in the Save Lives movement. Congress Committee Secretary and Co-Incharge of Madhya Pradesh Sanjay Dutt, former Union Minister Kantilal Bhuria, National President of the All India Tribal Congress and Jhabua MLA Vikrant Bhuria, District Incharge Hiralal Alawa, Thandla MLA Veer Singh Bhuria, and Co-Incharges Girish Jaiswal and Sunil Arya, former MLAs Valsingh Meda and Xavier Meda, District Panchayat President Mrs. Saunal Yashwant Bhabor, State General Secretary Nirmal Mehta, Meghnagar District President Mrs. Lalita Mukesh Muniya will be the main participants.

Details of the Protest

The protest will be held on September 27, 2025, at 11:00 am, at the Agricultural Produce Market, Meghnagar (behind the Meghnagar Police Station).

Officers and workers of the District Congress Committee, Jhabua, and Block Congress Committee, along with officials and workers of the Mahila Congress, Youth Congress, NSUI, and Seva Dal, and the public of the area will participate in the protest.
