Successful conclusion of two-day photo exhibition and competition

Media Photo Journalist Trust, in collaboration with Press Club of India, New Delhi, organized a grand two-day photo exhibition and competition, which concluded successfully today. 25 eminent photo journalists of national media participated in this event and worked to make the society aware through their excellent works.

The inauguration and launch of the program was done by the distinguished dignitaries present as chief guests. Prominent among them are –

• Akash Kumar (Founder, Being Heart Foundation)

• Manoj Jain (Corporation Councillor)

• Vipin Goyal (BJP Member)

• Dr. Sanjay Solanki (Sir Ganga Ram Hospital)

• Nishi Singh (Founder, Naad Foundation)

• Nityanand Tiwari (Singer)

• Shailesh Giri (Film PRO)

• Paramjit Singh Pamma

• Neeraj Thakur (Secretary General)

• Abhay Sopori (Famous Santoor Player)

• Ragini Renu (Sufi Singer)

• Dr. Dhirendra Kuber (RML Hospital)

• Deepak Tanwar (Former Candidate, Deoli Vidhan Sabha)

• G. Satendra Tripathi

• Ravindra Kumar (Executive Member, PCI)

• Dr. Aamna Mirza

etc.

On this occasion, Trust officials led by Trust Chairman Naval Hans – Qamar Sibtain, Vijay Verma, Wasim Sarwar, Hemant Rawat, Jagjit Singh, Surendra Singh and Kanan Saran were also present.

The competition was evaluated by jury members – Kamaljit Singh, Sunil Malhotra, Shankar Chakraborty and G.N. Jha. The winners were awarded as follows –

• First Prize: Manvendra Vashishth (PTI)

• Second Prize: Mukesh Agarwal (Tribune)

• Third Prize: Vivek Nigam (Amar Ujala)

Apart from this, five photo journalists – Imtiaz Khan, Mihir Singh, Dhruv Kumar, Neeraj Koli and Sumit Pal – were given consolation prizes.

The prizes and honors were given to all the winners by Mr. Manoj Kumar Jain (Corporation Councilor).

All the guests present on the occasion said that such meaningful events not only promote art and journalism but also spread positivity and awareness in the society.
