IMA Datia celebrated Foundation Day with the motto of Sarve Santu Niramayah

Health check-up of sanitation workers, active participation of more than 100 members

The foundation day of Indian Medical Association (IMA) Datia was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 6 September. IMA Datia, established in the year 2018, is playing an active role in health awareness, social service and medical field with more than 100 members today.

Health check-up of municipal sanitation workers was done in the special health camp organized on the foundation day. During this, general health check-up, blood pressure, diabetes and other diseases were screened. The employees described this initiative as commendable.

Addressing the program, Dr. Rajesh Gupta said that “IMA Datia has been established in the year 2018 and since then this organization is continuously active in serving the society. In the times to come, with the same energy and dedication, this group will remain a leader in health promotion and public welfare.”

Civil Surgeon Dr. K. C. Rathore congratulated the IMA team on the successful organization of the social program and said that “This effort made by IMA Datia is really exemplary in public interest.”

Dean-in-charge Dr. Surendra Bauddh said that “Such initiatives establish a strong relationship between society and the medical community and are extremely important in public welfare.”

Dr. Pradeep Upadhyay said that “It is the responsibility of all of us to take care of the health of those who take care of the health of the society.”

Dr. Sachin Singh Yadav said that “Institutions like IMA are not only providing medical services, but are also playing a leading role in fulfilling social responsibility.”

The program was conducted by IMA President Dr. Prashant Harit and the vote of thanks was presented by IMA Secretary Dr. K. P. Barathia. On this occasion, a large number of officials and members including IMA Treasurer Dr. K. L. Gupta were present.

In the end, everyone took a pledge to work towards social service and health promotion by imbibing the motto of IMA “Sarve Santu Niramaya”.
