GANG MEMBER OF HIMANSHU BHAU GANG ARRESTED WITH ILLEGAL ARMS, BY NR-II/CRIME BRANCH.

ONE GANG MEMBER OF INFAMOUS HIMANSHU BHAU GANG ARRESTED WITH THE RECOVERY OF ONE SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL & 03 LIVE CARTRIDGES.
ACCUSED IS ALSO WANTED IN A MURDER CASE REGISTERED AT PS MOHAN GARDEN.
THE NOTORIOUS HIMANSHU BHAU GANG CLAIMED RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS MURDER.

The team of NR-II, Crime Branch arrested one gang member of infamous Himanshu Bhau Gang, named Sumit S/o Vinod R/o Village Ramrai, PS Jind Sadar, Distt. Jind, Haryana, Age 22 years. One loaded semi-automatic pistol with 03 live cartridges were recovered from his possession, subsequently a case vide FIR No. 224/2025, u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act, PS Crime Branch was registered. Accused person was also wanted in a murder case registered vide FIR No. 219/25, u/s 103(5) BNS, dated 05.08.2025 at PS Mohan Garden.

INCIDENT OF MURDER CASE:

On 04/08/2025, three unknown men shot multiple bullets at Mohit Dagar and then fled on a red and black Hero HF Deluxe motorcycle. Mohit sustained multiple gunshot injuries and was immediately taken Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The notorious Himanshu Bhau gang claimed responsibility for this attack. In connection with this murder, a case was registered vide FIR No. 219/25, u/s 103(5) BNS at PS Mohan Garden. During investigation, two accused persons, including Aman (R/o Ramrai, District Jind, Haryana), have been arrested. On their interrogation, it was revealed that another accused Sumit, from the same village as Aman, was also involved in the crime.

INFORMATION & ARREST:

As per the instructions and directions of senior officers, the team of NR-II, Crime Branch was tasked to gather information regarding criminals associated with gangs in Delhi & NCR.

During this on 26.08.2025, HC Sumit, HC Ajay & Ct. Yogender got a secret information that one of the gang members of Himanshu Bhau Gang, named Sumit, who is also wanted in a recent murder case of PS Mohan Garden, would come at Narela-Bawana road to meet someone. It was also informed that he might have carried an illegal firearm. Thereupon, a team led by Insp. Sandeep Swami comprising SI Pardeep Dahiya, SI Sukhvinder Singh, ASI Sunil, HC Ajay, HC Raj Aryan, HC Sumit, HC Naval, HC Nitin and Ct. Yogender under the close supervision of Sh. Narender Singh, ACP/NR-II, was constituted by Sh. Harsh Indora, IPS, DCP/Crime Branch.

The aforesaid team laid a trap at place of information and apprehended Sumit S/o Vinod R/o Village Ramrai, PS Jind Sadar, Distt. Jind, Haryana, Age 22 years, with the recovery of one loaded semi-automatic pistol with 03 live cartridges. Upon recovery of one semi-automatic pistol and three live cartridges, a case FIR No. 224/2025, u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act, PS Crime Branch.

INTERROGATION:

On interrogation, the accused disclosed about his involvement in conspiracy of a recent murder registered at PS Mohan Garden. Accused Sumit revealed that he studied till 8th class and joined crime due to poor financial condition. His father passed away 1½ years ago. Earlier in 2025, he was arrested in an arms case and came in contact with members of Himanshu @ Bhau Gang in jail. After release, Sumit and his friend Aman maintained contact with gang members Raman @ Fouji, Karan and Pongi.

On 02.08.2025, these gang members visited their village with weapons, tested firearms, and asked Sumit and Aman to arrange a motorcycle for a murder in Delhi. They failed to arrange the bike but managed to purchase it from a mechanic using Aman’s Aadhaar Card. The same bike was used in the murder of area of PS Mohan Garden. Sumit also disclosed that Raman @ Fouji had given him a pistol to keep, which has now been recovered.

RECOVERY:

• One semi-automatic pistol and 03 live cartridges recovered from Sumit.

2. FIR No. 219/2025, u/s 103(5) BNS, PS Mohan Garden, Delhi

PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON:

Sumit S/o Vinod, R/o Village Ramrai, PS Jind Sadar, District Jind, Haryana studied till 8th class. His family is dependent on labour work and father died 1½ years ago. He was previously arrested in Feb 2025 in a case of Arms Act registered at PS Jind Sadar and came in contact with members of Himanshu @ Bhau Gang in jail. After release, he was associated with gang members Raman @ Fouji, Karan, and Pongi.
