CENTRAL DISTRICT POLICE TIGHTENED NOOSE ON PROCLAIMED OFFENDERS – ONE MORE BEHIND BARS

• ONE ROBBER TURNED PROCLAIMED OFFENDER APPREHENDED BY TEAM OF PP LNJP, PS IP ESTATE, CENTRAL DISTRICT.
• ACCUSED ARRESTED ON THE BASIS OF LOCAL INFORMATION AND MANUAL SURVEILLANCE.
• ACCUSED WAS EVADING JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS TO DODGE PUNISHMENT.
A special drive against Proclaimed Offenders is being actively pursued in Central District. During this drive, a Proclaimed Offender (PO) wanted in a robbery case of Police Station IP Estate was successfully apprehended by the alert team of PP LNJP.
TEAM & OPERATION:
A dedicated team comprising SI Rahul Dhama, Ct. Rahul, and Ct. Sunil was constituted under the monitoring of SI Mukesh Tomer, I/C PP LNJP, under the supervision of Insp. Ghanshyam Kishore, SHO PS IP Estate, and overall supervision of ACP Kamla Market, Ms. Sulekha.
The team carried out sustained manual surveillance and developed local intelligence regarding the absconding accused, Muzibur Rehman @ Bikau, who was evading judicial proceedings and had been declared a Proclaimed Offender by the Hon’ble Court of Ms. Preeti, Ld. JMFC, on 28.03.2025.
On 27.08.2025, information was received that the accused was present near Hathi Park, Kotla Road, Delhi. Acting swiftly, the team reached the location and apprehended the Proclaimed Offender.
The accused was wanted in FIR No. 364/24, dated 16.11.2024, U/s 309(4)/309(6)/311/351/317(2)/3(5) BNS, P.S. IP Estate, in which the complainant was injured and ?5,000/- was robbed from him. During the course of investigation, one accused, Mohd. Azharuddin @ Shan, was arrested earlier and the weapon of offence was recovered from him. Co-accused Muzibur Rehman @ Bikau had absconded and was subsequently declared a Proclaimed Offender.
ACCUSED ARRESTED:
1. Muzibur Rehman @ Bikau, R/o Mata Sundri Road, Jhuggi/Kothi, New Delhi. Age- 25 yrs.

The arrest marks a major success in the ongoing drive against absconding criminals and reinforces the commitment of Central District Police to bring offenders to justice.
