Food Safety Department took a total of 08 samples after investigation in Karvad

Rahim Sherani Hindustani - Jhabua

Keeping in view the Rakshabandhan festival, in compliance with the instructions of Collector Neha Meena, on 05 August 2025, the Food Safety Administration has taken action by inspecting the hotels and grocery shops of Karvad in view of the festival.

In which samples of Peda and Gulab Jamun Mix from Jain Restaurant, Mithai and Son Papdi from Ashoka Restaurant, Ghee, Soya Oil from Samarthmal Kirana, Ghee from Jawaharlal Kirana and Semolina from Prakashchand Kirana etc. have been taken for investigation.

The samples taken in the investigation are being sent for testing to the testing laboratory in Bhopal. Food Safety Officer Velsingh Mori told that in compliance with the instructions of the Collector, a surprise inspection campaign was conducted in the village Karvad of the district. In which various hotels and sweet shops have been inspected keeping in view the upcoming festival.
