AAI Partners with Amity University Online to Support Archer Education

In the presence of Archery Association of India President & Former Union Minister Shri Arjun Munda the Delhi BJP President & General Secretary of AAI today signed a partnership with the Noida based Amity University to promote Archers education. University promoter Shri Ashok Chavan signed to support the Archery players.

Speaking on the occasion Shri Arjun Munda & Shri Virendra Sachdeva said that over the years, the Archery Association of India has observed a significant challenge faced by many athletes: the difficulty of completing their education due to rigorous training schedules and national and international competitions. This often leads to archers taking admission in educational institutions but being unable to attend classes or appear for exams, ultimately hindering their academic progress.

To address this critical issue, the Archery Association of India and Amity University Online came close for partnership to enter into a landmark agreement so that our Archers can pursue higher education while maintaining their sports commitments.

This partnership will provide our dedicated Senior, Junior and Para Archers with the much-needed flexibility to pursue their studies without compromising their sporting careers. Under the program, Sports Scholarships would be extended in the name of ‘CHAMPS’ for their Under Graduate and Post Graduate Programs. Amity University will offer tailored programs that accommodate the demanding schedules of athletes, ensuring they can attend classes and take examinations with greater ease.

CHAMPS offer three distinct scholarship tiers for our complete program fee ensuring that financial considerations do not hinder their pursuit of both sporting and educational aspirations:

• International Level Players: Eligible for a 100% scholarship, covering the entire program fee.

• State Level Players: Qualify for a 50% scholarship on the complete program fee.

• District Level Players: Can avail a 30% scholarship on the complete program fee.

Online education provides full flexibility to students to study. They can complete their program with recorded lectures the students have access to any time, anywhere study without missing their sporting commitments. They can even take their exams while actively engaged in training or competitions.

To further bolster our archers' capabilities and mental strength, a free certification program in Sports Psychology will be provided by Amity University Online, which is crucial for optimizing performance and achieving success in their sport.

Shri Ashok Chavan said to guide the Archers, a dedicated counsellor will be provided under the program to extend any help related academics, examinations, assignments or learning platform issues.

This collaboration underscores the AAI's & Amity's commitment to the holistic development of its athletes, recognizing the importance of both sporting excellence and academic achievement.

We all believe this initiative will empower our archers to excel in their sport while also building a strong foundation for their future beyond the archery range.
