ONE ARMED SHARP SHOOTER OF NOTORIOUS GOGI GANG ARRESTED

With the arrest of one sharp shooter of Gogi Gang namely Chirag @ Kala r/o Narela Delhi, a team of Insp. Ajay Sharma and Insp. Ajay Ghlawat, NR-I/Crime Branch in the supervision of ACP Sh. Ashok Sharma and overall guidance of the undersigned has worked out the firing incident case of PS KNK Marg.

INCIDENT:

On 09.06.2025, four motorcyclist/shooters fired at two cars parked in-front of a house of a business man in sector 16, Rohini, Delhi, in the evening hours. Several rounds were fired damaging the cars. A case under appropriate sections of Law was registered at PS KNK Marg, Delhi. The incidents happened in full public view and caused a lot of concern among the general public of Delhi/NCR. Looking at the gravity of the offence, several teams were formed which started working on both the cases. Technical as well as manual inputs were looked for. During primary investigation, the angle of personal enmity and local issue were explored but nothing came out.

INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION:

The team worked dedicatedly and finally a potential input was received to HC Mandeep Rana and HC Narender of NR-I/Crime Branch. The secret informer told that the main sharp shooter involved in KNK firing case, namely Chirag @ Kala of Gogi gang would come to Nalah Road, sector 25, Rohini, Delhi to meet someone. The information was shared with senior officers and the team consisting of SI Ajit Singh, SI Manish Panwar, ASI Pawan, HC Mandeep, HC Narender, HC Akash, HC Dinesh, HC Vikas Dabas, HC Shabeer, HC Ravinder Kumar and Const. Ankush rushed to the spot.

APPREHENSION AND INTERROGATION:

At about 8:30 AM, one boy coming from sector 25, Rohini Bhagwan Mahavir Road side towards Nalah Road was spotted. The boy stopped at a point after turning on the nalah road and started waiting for someone. At the instance of secret informer, the police party approached closer to the suspect and apprehended him by applying justified force. HC Narender and HC Mandeep Rana, pounced on the boy and overpowered him while he was trying hard to reach to his right pocket which was later found to be carrying a loaded sophisticated pistol. On interrogation, the identity of the boy carrying pistol was disclosed as Chirag @ Kala S/o Ashok R/o Swatantra Nagar, Bankner, Narela, Delhi - 110040, Age-22 years.

On further interrogation, Chirag @ Kala disclosed that his cousin brother Akshay @ Taxi is associated with Gogi Gang. Akshay @ Taxi is presently in the Jail. At the directions of Akshay @ Taxi he has bullied some local criminals/business man. The matter came into the notice of police and police started looking for Chirag @ Kala. Someone told him that the complaint has been made by the complainant of KNK firing incident. He arranged weapons with his associates and fired multiple rounds at the vehicles parked in-front of house of business man living in Sector-16, Rohini, Delhi.

During further investigation one more sophisticated pistol used in to commission of offence in sector 16 Rohini has been recovered at his instance.

1. FIR No. 325/25 u/s 125/324(4)/3/5 BNS r/w 25/27 Arms Act PS KNK Marg.

2. FIR No. 185/25 u/s 25 Arms Act PS Special Cell.

RECOVERY:

1. Two sophisticated pistols with two live cartridges.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED:

Chirag @ Kala, Age-22 years is a native of Village Bankner, Narela, Delhi. His father is a local cater in Gannor, Haryana. His cousin brother Akshay @Taxi came into contact with sympathizer of Gogi Gang. He too got under the influence of his brother Akshay @ Taxi and other members of Gogi Gang. At the instance of Akshay @ Taxi he has fired multiple rounds at the vehicles parked in-front of house of business man living in Sector-16, Rohini, Delhi. He was accompanied by his associates namely Umesh Sharma, Sunny and one CCL on two motor cycles.
