The team of AHTU, Crime Branch (ISO-9001:2015 Certified), has recovered a missing/kidnapped minor girl aged 16 years from Nizamuddin Dargah, Delhi.

FACTS OF THE CASE:
The minor victim, a 16-year-old girl, was reported missing/kidnapped since 31.05.2025 from the area of P.S. Bhalswa Dairy, Delhi. A case was registered on 31.05.2025 under Section 137(2) of the BNS 2023 at Police Station Bhalswa Dairy, Delhi.

INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION:
The team of the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU), Crime Branch, comprising Inspector Manoj Dahiya, ASI Gopal Krishan No. 1318/Crime, Ct. Dharamraj No. 1346/Crime, and W/Ct. Kajal No. 3143/N, under the supervision of ACP/AHTU Arun Chauhan, took up the matter due to its sensitivity. The team worked relentlessly and collected information from various sources including the parents, relatives, and friends of the victim. CCTV footage was also analyzed.
Through the analysis of the footage, the registration number of an auto-rickshaw was traced. The auto driver was located and interrogated. As a result of the investigation, the victim was successfully traced at Nizamuddin Dargah, Delhi.
Enquiry revealed that the victim is illiterate and has never attended school. On 31.05.2025, after being scolded by her mother over household works, she left home without informing her family. She took an auto-rickshaw and went to Nizamuddin Dargah, where she stayed.
The missing minor girl has been handed over to the Investigating Officer of the concerned police station for further necessary legal action.
