Two youths caught firing in celebration at wedding ceremony, three guns confiscated, licenses to be cancelled, Gwalior police station in-charge took immediate action after reaching the garden

Gun-wielding youths were seen entering the wedding ceremony organized at Patel Garden in Ladhedi, Gwalior suburb. When the police was sent to the garden to verify the information, the armed youths started firing in celebration. Meanwhile, police station in-charge Mirza Asif Baig reached the garden with the force and caught two gun-wielding youths with three guns. Police registered a case against the youths who fired and seized three guns. One of the youths caught is from Agra and the other is from Ladhedi. Police is also investigating the criminal record of both the arrested youths. Police station in-charge Mirza Asif Baig said that among the arrested youths, Manish Manjhi son of Naresh Manjhi resident of Ladhedi near Khari Kuan, Anuj Kashyap son of Mansingh Kashyap resident of Lal Firoz Khan Madhu Nagar Agra, police seized a 12 bore gun and a cartridge of 315 bore from one of them. A gun was lying on the ground in the confiscated area which a youth had left behind and fled. Both the youths who were caught did not have licenses for the weapons.

Police station in-charge Mirza Asif Baig said that the youths did not have licenses for the confiscated guns. The youths were firing celebratory shots after taking the gun to some other relative. The police will now confiscate the licenses and send a proposal to the administration for cancelling them.
