The dignitaries of the city welcomed the people of the city's social worker Salim Patel Prembandhan going to Haj (pilgrimage) from Kanadia area by presenting them bouquets, garlands and pearls and feeding them sweets. On this occasion, enlightened people of Naita Patel society and Vice President of District Haj Committee Rehan Ansari, Haji Hanif Patel Gold, journalist Parvez Iqbal, Tahir Kamal Siddiqui, Jaikishan Bourasi, Councilor Mahesh Joshi, Islam Patel, Usman Patel Famous, Afsar Patel, Advocate Tanveer Patel, Shahid Noori of Jamia Fatima, Haider Captain, Rais Patel RR etc. welcomed the Haj pilgrims. The pilgrims were appealed to pray for the prosperity, progress, unity and brotherhood of the country in Mecca Medina. A feast was also arranged for all the guests.
