IMA Datia organized a grand CME on the topic Management of Pruritis

Key speaker, senior dermatologist Dr. Khozima Saifi gave information on modern treatment of itching. 15 new doctors joined IMA

Indian Medical Association (IMA) Datia branch organized a one-day educational program (CME) on Wednesday evening, the main topic of which was “Management of Pruritis (Itching)”.

A large number of young doctors including senior doctors of the city participated in the program and got the latest information related to the subject.

The chief guest of the program was Dr. B.K. Verma, Chief Medical and Health Officer. Emphasizing the need for continuous innovation, experience-sharing and cooperation in the field of medicine, he said that such events keep the knowledge of doctors updated and patients get better service.

Guest of Honor Dr. Arjun Singh, Medical College Superintendent, also expressed his views and inspired the doctors to work with team spirit and keep medical ethics paramount.

The program was presided over by Dr. S.N. Shakya, who threw light on common misconceptions and scientific facts related to pruritis.

The special guests included Dr. Pradeep Upadhyay, Dr. Pradeep Shukla, Dr. K.C. Rathore and Dr. Sachin Singh Yadav, who shared their experiences and appreciated the activism and social service efforts of IMA.

The keynote speaker of the program was senior dermatologist Dr. Khozima Saifi (MD, Dermatologist), who was specially present from Gwalior. She gave the latest information on various causes of pruritus (itching), methods of diagnosis, techniques of communication with the patient and medicines. She explained how this common problem can sometimes be a sign of serious diseases. His lecture proved to be very informative for all the doctors present.

The stage management of this CME program was done in an impressive and interesting style by Dr. Abhishek Mehta, who took the program forward in an organized manner.

Another special attraction of the program was that 15 new doctors took membership of IMA, which gave new energy and strength to the organization. Welcoming the new members, IMA expressed confidence that these young doctors will take the organization's work further.
