Meghnagar SDM issued show cause notice to 45 vendors and imposed fine on all.

Meghnagar Sub-Divisional Officer Revenue organized a review meeting of all vendors of section Meghnagar to review e-KYC of all eligible beneficiaries attached to the public distribution system. In which e-KYC percentage of 45 fair price shops was found to be less than 80 percent. The Sub-Divisional Officer issued instructions to negligent vendors to complete e-KYC by 30 April and issued show cause notice to 45 vendors and imposed fine on all.

E-KYC percentage of fair price shops Santsera and Dudka, Ochka, Talai, Etawah, Panchpipliya and Kachaldara was found to be less than 70 percent. Also, at three fair price shops of the Nagar Parishad, whose average e-KYC was found to be 77 percent, all vendors were issued show cause notices and were directed to complete e-KYC by April 30. A fine of Rs 2000 each has been imposed on all the negligent vendors. Due to low daily progress of e-KYC of fair price shops Santsera, Piploda Bada and Tadladara, if satisfactory progress is not made, action will be taken to remove the vendors.
