Massive Protest at ISKCON Temple, Delhi: Effigy of Pakistan Burnt Over Attack on Hindus in Pahalgam, Kashmir

Bureau Chief Vijay Gaur - New Delhi
Thousands of people from various walks of life gathered at the ISKCON Temple in Delhi today to protest the brutal attack on innocent Hindu devotees in Pahalgam, Kashmir. The protest saw high-voltage emotions and outrage, culminating in the burning of an effigy of Pakistan as a mark of strong condemnation.

Senior BJP leader Rajpal Singh led the protest, joined by prominent social activists Pawan Sharma, Virender Gautam, retired Wing Commander Chadha, student leaders Pranav Bhutani, Urmila Malaviya, Sanjay Singh, and S.P. Singh, all of whom addressed the large gathering.

In their speeches, the leaders condemned the incident as not just a religious attack but a direct assault on India's unity, cultural values, and spirit of secularism. They demanded a high-level investigation and strict punishment for the culprits, along with immediate and permanent security arrangements for pilgrims and religious sites across the country.

The crowd chanted powerful slogans like "Bharat Mata Ki Jai", "No More Violence in the Name of Religion", and "Down with Pakistan", echoing their anger and solidarity. The participation of students, youth, women, senior citizens, and community leaders gave the protest a strong, unified character.

Although the protest remained peaceful, the sheer size of the gathering and the strong voices from the stage sent a clear message: the people of India will no longer stay silent in the face of religiously motivated violence.
