Many expensive equipment including orthopedic implants are available completely free of cost through Ayushman Bharat Yojana: Dean Dr. Deepak S. Marawi.

On the occasion of World Health Day, with the motto of Sarve Bhavantu Sukhin: Sarve Santu Niramaya, the Medical College has presented a gift of health to the people of the region, in which 11 specialist doctors of various departments have been posted, which has increased the facilities available to the patients! It is the result of the Herculean efforts of the Dean of the Medical College, Dr Deepak Singh Marawi that under the Department of General Surgery, the hospital is now providing the facility of plastic and reconstructive surgery, for which Dr Vasudev Sharma, who is a superspecialist plastic surgeon, has been appointed. Apart from this, according to Dr K N Arya, the facility of upper GI endoscopy and lower GI endoscopy will also be available soon, which is an important progress of the surgical department. In the Orthopedics Department, orthopedic implants have become available completely free of cost under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, due to which, along with major bone operations, the facility of deformity correction surgery has also become available, which is providing relief to patients with congenital and acquired musculoskeletal deformities, along with this, major ligament surgeries are also being done in the medical college through the telescope method! Medical Superintendent Dr Arjun Singh said that in the Gynecology Department, advanced gynecological surgery, which includes minimally invasive procedures, is now available. The Department of Dermatology has also introduced specialized skin procedures, giving patients a wide range of skin care and treatment options. The Department of Psychiatry has Dr. Rajesh Singh posted, offering treatment for a variety of mental disorders through a Special Psychiatry Clinic! These new services are giving the local community access to high quality, specialized medical care in their own area, without having to travel to distant medical centers.
