The National President of BJP met 98-year-old senior worker Shakuntala Arya and hoisted the party flag at her residence in the presence of Virendra Sachdeva and Harsh Malhotra.

Mrs. Shakuntala Arya, as an elderly worker, is an invaluable asset to BJP – BJP National President

On the occasion of BJP’s foundation day, the National President of BJP, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, met 98-year-old senior party worker and former Mayor, Mrs. Shakuntala Arya, along with other party workers at her residence in Lajpat Nagar, Delhi. He was accompained by Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva, Union Minister of State Shri Harsh Malhotra, National General Secretary Shri Arun Singh, Shri Radha Mohan Das Agarwal, local MLA Sardar Tarvinder Singh Marwah, National Media Co-Head Shri Sanjay Mayukh, State Vice President Smt. Yogita Singh, Mayur Vihar District President Shri Vijender Dhamma, and other party officials.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda honored Mrs. Shakuntala Arya by draping her with a party scarf and offering a shawl and sought her blessings by touching her feet. He then hoisted the party flag at her residence.

Mrs. Shakuntala Arya blessed Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda and Shri Virendra Sachdeva, wishing them long life and success in their service to the nation.

On this occasion, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda stated that elderly workers like Mrs. Shakuntala Arya are an invaluable treasure for BJP, and it is through the sacrifices and dedication of such workers that today BJP is in power both at the Center and in Delhi.
