Shri Jain Shwetambar Terapanth Mahila Mandal Petlawad organized a historic dignified program on International Women's Day

On the occasion of International Women's Day, Petlawad, a dignified program was organized by the local Shri Jain Shwetambar Terapanth Mahila Mandal at the local Khushbu Palace. Addressing the women as the chief guest in the said event, the local Municipal Council President Mrs. Lalita Gamd said that Women's Day reminds us of the contribution of women, their strength and their struggles. Women are the backbone of our society. They play an important role in our life as mother, sister, wife.

On this occasion, the Principal of Sampark Buniyadi Shala, Mrs. Prakshali Desai, who was specially present in the program, expressed her views and said that we should understand our responsibility towards women. We should provide them respect, support and security. We should protect their rights and provide them equal opportunities in the society. In the dignified program organized on Women's Day, the district coordinator of the local women's power Sangeeta Trivedi and senior teacher Vanita Chaturvedi also expressed their views through poetry and wished all the women present in the program a Happy International Women's Day. On this occasion, Nirmala Devi Patwa, Meena Mehta, Pushpa Palrecha, Preeti Patwa, etc. expressed their views. In the said program, a debate competition was also organized on the topic of modern lifestyle and family values, in which Nikita Bhandari came first, Riya Mehta second, Swati Kanswa and Pragati Gadiya third. Vinita Chaturvedi and Sachin Moonat played the important role of judges. On this occasion, the Mahila Mandal welcomed and honored the chief guests and the sisters who won the debate competition.

While presiding over the program, Terapanth Mahila Mandal President Anita Bhandari gave the welcome speech and expressed gratitude to all the sisters of the Mahila Mandal.

In the said event, Terapanth Mahila Mandal and Kanya Mandal gave their various commendable and charming presentations, which were appreciated by all. The program was started by Rekha Palrecha, Akshita Bam and Sarika Monnat from the Mahila Mandal by collectively reciting Namaskar Mahamantra and Mangalacharan. In this commendable event organized on the occasion of Women's Day, the trainers of Gyanshala along with Mahila Mandal, Kanya Mandal also played an important role. A large number of women and officials of various organizations of Terapanthi Shravak Samaj were specially present in the said event. The program was efficiently conducted by Sarika Monnat and the vote of thanks was given by Sangeeta Bhandari.
