Special ear piercing ceremony organized for daughters on Basant Panchami, target of more than 500 ear piercings

Dabra. On the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami and Simran Agarwal's birthday, a special ear piercing ceremony was organized at Ratanlal Saraf & Sons. In this event which started at 10 am, ears of more than 300 girls have been pierced so far, and this number is expected to reach 500.

The director of the establishment, Mrs. Madhu Agarwal, said that this tradition has been continuing for the last five years. Describing this event as a holy celebration of daughter's birthday, she said that it is an effort to strengthen the sanskar and traditions in the society.

The ceremony started with the worship of Maa Saraswati by Pandit Ramankant Pandey Shastri with rituals. During this, the girls who came to get their ears pierced were also worshipped. On this auspicious occasion, eminent people of the society including reputed bullion trader Sujit Agarwal were present.

Those present at the event said that such cultural programmes on Basant Panchami bring happiness, prosperity and peace in the society and they should continue.
