Government should run awareness campaign to prevent HMPV

News of increasing cases of HMPV i.e. Human Meta Pneumo Virus in China is in discussion. Some cases have also been reported in India. HMPV has increased the concern of the world. In view of this, Indore Vice President of Congress IT Cell, Salim Pathan has demanded the government to run a public awareness campaign to prevent HMPV. So that if there is awareness and alertness in time, then the disease can be cured on time. Salim Pathan said that due to lack of awareness and vigilance, the government should take steps to increase awareness. Because awareness and vigilance is the prevention from infection. Salim Pathan said that a lot of misconceptions are being spread about HMPV on social media. Do not panic from this, but be alert and cautious.

Symptoms of HMPV-

According to doctors, the symptoms of infection of this virus include cough, fever, blocked nose, difficulty in breathing and flu. In more serious cases, it can also cause bronchitis or pneumonia.

Alert situation all over the world-

There is an alert situation all over the world regarding Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV). The fear of the infection spreading in China since mid-December increased further when cases of HMPV were confirmed in India. More than 12 cases related to HMPV have been reported in India. An elderly person and a child tested positive in Gujarat, a 60-year-old woman was found infected in Uttar Pradesh.

State government should make people aware-

The Health Ministry has advised the states regarding HMPV. In which it was said that the state government should make people aware to protect them from infection.
