Cabinet meeting in Maheshwar: Liquor ban at 17 religious places, women empowerment and other important decisions

Maheshwar, Madhya Pradesh: The state government took several important decisions in the cabinet meeting held in Maheshwar under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. In this meeting, important steps were announced to ban liquor at a total of 17 major religious places, which will promote the religious and social stability of the state.

Women empowerment given priority along with liquor ban

Several schemes were also proposed in the meeting to further encourage women empowerment. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that new policies would be made to increase the safety and employment opportunities of women in the state, so that women can play their role in all areas of society.

Development of Narmada Retreat Project in Maheshwar

The foundation stone of the Narmada Retreat Project was also laid to promote tourism in Maheshwar. This project will make the tourist destination of Maheshwar more attractive and strengthen the local economy. The Chief Minister said that this project will help in making Maheshwar, situated on the banks of river Narmada, a world-class tourist destination.

Maheshwar Janapav Lift Irrigation Project

The foundation stone of Maheshwar Janapav Lift Irrigation Project was also laid in the meeting, which aims to provide better irrigation facilities to the farmer community of the state. This project will be helpful in improving the agriculture sector and increasing the income of farmers.

300th Birth Anniversary of Devi Ahilyabai

Apart from this, special programs were announced in the meeting on the occasion of the 300th birth anniversary of Devi Ahilyabai. The purpose of these programs is to recognize her greatness and contribution, as well as inspire the people of the state to take inspiration from her life.

Employee Transfer Policy

The meeting also decided to formulate a new policy for the transfer of government employees, which will increase transparency and efficiency in government services. This policy will be made to create a better work environment for the employees and contribute more to the development of the state.
