Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla honored 51 eminent personalities of Agrawal community

New Delhi. All India Agrawal Organization organized a grand 'Agra Alankaran Samman Samaroh' at Dr. Ambedkar International Center, Janpath, New Delhi. In which Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla honored 51 distinguished personalities of Agrawal community.

This ceremony organized in the holy presence of Mahamandaleshwar Geeta Manishi Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj was attended by Bhilwara MP Damodar Agarwal, National Chairman of All India Agrawal Organization Pradeep Mittal, National President Dr. Sushil Gupta and eminent personalities of Agrawal community from India and abroad.

Addressing the ceremony, Chief Guest Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that with the inspiration of Lord Agrasen Ji, Agrawal community has always played a leading role in the development of the country. The contribution of the capable section of the society will be important in fulfilling the resolve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make India a developed nation by 2047. He said that this felicitation ceremony is not only a tribute to the glorious talents of the society, but it also inspires the new generation. Shri Birla said that the tradition of sacrifice, dedication and service established by our ancestors is the basis of the identity and respect of the Agrawal society today. While handling this heritage, we should give such values ??to the next generation that wherever there is a disaster or crisis, our hand should be the first to extend for help.

He further said that Lord Agrasen Ji taught that the grace of Lakshmi should be used for the welfare of the society. We should move forward with this spirit. Shri Birla also said that the Agrawal society has always played its role in the all-round development of the country by taking inspiration from the thoughts of Lord Agrasen Ji. This society is not only capable and competent, but it also has many unique talents, who have increased the pride of the society and the country with their work. Praising the event, Om Birla said that I have known the national chairman of the organization Pradeep Mittal for the last 40 years. He is continuously working for the progress of the society. He has done a great job in organizing the Vaishya community and for the society. Today's program is a glimpse of his selfless service to the society.

In his blessings, Mahamandaleshwar Geeta Manishi Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj said that the honor is not for the person but for traditions and dedication. It is said in the Gita that one should work with full devotion without worrying about the result, being aware of the duty. Our goal should be good, the sentiment should be true and the faith should be strong. Swami Gyananand Ji Maharaj praised the 'Agra Alankaran Samman Samaroh' and praised the entire team including the National Chairman of the organization Pradeep Mittal for the appropriate selection of the great people who received the 'Maharaja Agrasen Global Icon Award' and said that these awardees include inspiring personalities from all areas of the society.

National Chairman of All India Agrawal Organization Pradeep Mittal said that 'Agra Alankaran Samman Samaroh' is not only an opportunity to honor the excellent talents of the society, but it is also a resolution to take the society forward with unity and dedication. Apart from the country, eminent personalities from abroad have also come to receive the award. This will not only inspire them to do even better in the future, but more people will be inspired to do better work. The Government of India has also announced awards for the sports talents whom we have honored today. Referring to the work and future plans of the organization, Mr. Mittal said that the organization will continue to work for the upliftment of the society and to remove social evils by binding the society in the thread of unity. He also informed that on the occasion of International Women's Day on 8 March 2025, the Agrawal Samaj will organize a special program to promote women empowerment across the country.

In the ceremony, eminent personalities of Agrawal community who made pioneering contributions in various fields were honored with Maharaja Agrasen Global Icon Award. Among them, 'Shri Banarasi Das Gupta Seva Award' was given to Siyaram Agrawal (Raipur). While Prof. K. K. Agrawal (SAARC Nation, President of South Asian University), Rajiv Kumar (Chairman Param Dairy), Nitin Agarwal (MD Prayag Group) and late Subhash Gupta (President, Maharaja Agrasen Hospital Punjabi Bagh, Delhi) were given Agraratna Award and Mahesh Kumar Agarwal (Managing Director Metallics Ltd. Odisha) was given Bhamashah Award.
