On the last day of the year 2024, Thandla MLA Veersingh Bhuria went to Mantralaya Vallabh Bhawan Bhopal and met Principal Secretary Neeraj Mandloi, Energy Department and apprised him of the problems of the area, so that electricity can reach the homes of the villagers in the first month of the year 2025 and their homes can be lit up with light. MLA Bhuria told Principal Secretary Mandloi that the work of feeder separation is being done on the side of the rural roads of the area, and the pace of work is so slow that even after three years, the villagers are not getting the benefit of the government scheme. Along with this, the road has been blocked by putting electric poles on the side of the road and the passers-by traveling on the road are facing a lot of problems. Villagers are upset due to incomplete work and poles and wires are in disarray at many places. The contractor and responsible persons have misappropriated the funds in the important government scheme and have cheated the government of lakhs of rupees, which is now necessary to investigate.

Told the reality of the work of electricity grid in Rambhapur

MLA Veersingh Bhuria, while making Principal Secretary Neeraj Mandloi aware of other problems of the area, said that due to lack of electricity grid in rural areas, villagers are facing the problem of electricity. Despite the approval of electricity grid, the negligence being shown by the contractor in the work is now becoming a burden for the villagers. The contractor who has taken up the work has not been able to complete the work within the time limit and due to this, electricity has not reached the homes of the residents of more than 100 villages of Rambhapur area. Villagers have complained many times at the district level also, but due to the high reach of the contractor, the problem remains as it is. MLA Bhuria has demanded action against the concerned contractor from the Principal Secretary. The above information has been given by MLA media representative Ali Asghar Bohra.
