Thieves targeted SBI ATM located at Pichor Tiraha, thieves uprooted the ATM machine and took it away.

The incident of theft of SBI ATM located at Pichor Tiraha of Dabra has created a stir in the city. On the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday, unknown thieves uprooted the ATM machine and took it away. This incident of theft took place near a liquor shop, from where after taking away the ATM, it is not yet known how much amount was in it.

This incident has become a big challenge for the police administration, because before this the thieves were targeting grocery shops and empty houses. This audacity of ATM theft is not only raising questions on the security system of the police, but is also creating fear and anger among the citizens.

An ATM theft incident has happened earlier at Pichor Tiraha, in which about Rs 23 lakh was stolen. This time the incident has raised questions on the working of the police. City Police Station in-charge Yashwant Goyal said that the matter is being investigated seriously and efforts will be made to arrest the thieves soon.

After the incident, Gwalior SP Dharamveer Singh reached the spot and took stock of the situation. The police now need to tighten the security system as well as strengthen the surveillance system so that such incidents can be stopped.
