Effective combing patrol in all the police stations of the district with the aim of maintaining law and order.

03 rewarded and 02 absconding accused were arrested and action was taken against 03 accused smuggling illegal liquor, 01 in illegal weapon and 02 in gambling/betting and 04 accused in other cases.

With the aim of maintaining law and order in the district and tightening the noose on habitual criminals, on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Gwalior Shri Dharamveer Singh, combing patrol was done till late night in the police station areas of the city and countryside in Gwalior district on the intervening night of 08/09. 12.2024. During this, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Shri Niranjan Sharma and all the gazetted officers of Gwalior Police, along with their subordinate station in-charges, conducted combing patrol in Gwalior city and rural areas with the police force. Before the combing patrol, section wise police force was gathered at different places and the force was briefed by the gazetted officers, after which it was sent for combing patrol in different areas. On this occasion, Superintendent of Police Gwalior himself took stock of the combing patrol in the city and directed the police officers to take effective action. The combing patrol of Gwalior Police has created panic among the miscreants of the district. Officers of Gwalior Police conducted foot patrol in their respective areas with subordinate police station force. During this, they checked the absconding miscreants, warrantees, goons, history sheeter miscreants and district ban accused at their homes as well as checked bank ATMs and lodges, dhabas. For this patrol, police officers formed teams and patrolled the identified sensitive areas in the city and rural areas.

During the combing patrol, the police executed a total of 103 permanent warrants, 101 arrest warrants in the district and also checked 177 goons and 168 history sheeters and 03 wanted criminals and 02 absconding accused were caught in Thana Kotwali and 03 cases of illegal liquor, 02 cases of gambling/betting and one criminal was caught with illegal weapons in Thana Maharajpura. Apart from this, 04 accused were taken into custody by the police in various cases.

During the combing patrol, the police also took preventive action against many active criminals and also updated the records of goons and history sheeters. The police arrested goons and criminals by roaming in the streets and localities of the city and rural areas. This combing patrol was conducted by the Superintendent of Police Gwalior with the aim of maintaining law and order in the district. Police teams went to the houses of goons and criminals and collected information about them. During the checking, every goon and criminal was also warned that if he is found involved in any criminal activities, strict action will be taken against him. The accused who were released from jail were also checked. This action taken by Gwalior Police with the aim of controlling crime and maintaining law and order will continue in future as well.
