Congress to protest industrial pollution today

As part of the Meghnagar Jeevan Bachao Andolan, Congress will hold a major protest in Meghnagar today, Saturday. This protest is against water and air pollution caused by chemicals in the industrial area.

The Congress has also written a letter to the Pollution Control Board officials and has compiled a list of questions to ask them.

State Congress President Jitu Patwari and other leaders will participate in the protest.

MLA Veer Singh Bhuria and District Congress President Prakash Ranka stated that meetings have been held in every village in the district and people have been invited.

Jitu Patwari, Kantilal Bhuria, co-incharge Sanjay Dutt, Tribal Congress National President Vikrant Bhuria, MLA Hiralal, Pratap Grewal, and other leaders will participate. Block President Yamin Sheikh, former District President Kalu Singh Nalvaya, Par Singh Dindor, and District President Lalita Mukesh Muniya stated that Congress had launched a massive movement 10 years ago.

At that time, they had talked about the CET plant. It's been two years since it was built, but industrial waste isn't being sent here. Only 52 tankers were sent in two years, even though 10 to 12 tankers of waste are shipped every day.
