NDMC to organize Viksit Bharat ke Rang, Kala ke Sang – An event aiming at a World Record

On the historic occasion of the 75th Birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) will organize “Viksit Bharat ke Rang, Kala ke Sang”, a grand artistic celebration aiming to create a world record, it is informed by Shri Kuljeet Singh Chahal, Vice Chairperson, NDMC today.

Shri Chahal said that inspired by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji – Seva hi Sankalp hai, Bharat Pratham Prerna hai – NDMC will organize a series of programs under Seva Parv from 17th September to 2nd October 2025. As part of these celebrations, “Viksit Bharat ke Rang, Kala ke Sang” will be held on Friday, 19th September 2025, at Kartavya Path Lawns, New Delhi. He further informed that every state, district, and village will contribute to this nationwide movement.

The event is being organized in collaboration with Padma Vibhushan and Padma Shri awardees, eminent and senior artists, Triveni Kala Sangam, and Delhi University.
Highlighting the preparations, Shri Chahal informed that more than 12,500 artists have already registered for participation. The key attraction of the program will be a 10-kilometer-long canvas painting, created by Padma awardees, eminent artists, and students. This initiative aims to set a world record as one of the largest collective works of art ever created.

He further stated that the theme of the painting will depict the works of Prime Minister Modi Ji, his flagship schemes and projects, his pivotal role in India’s development journey, and the vision of “Viksit Bharat @2047”, among other subjects.

Several renowned artists from India and abroad will also join the event virtually, sharing their artworks and inspirational messages.

Speaking on the significance of the event, Shri Chahal said: “This is not merely an art festival but life and leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, who has dedicated his entire life to service, sacrifice, and the spirit of Nation First. His tireless efforts inspire every Indian to contribute towards building a Viksit Bharat.”

He further added that NDMC has created a Google registration form for participants, and registration will be mandatory. After the event, participation certificates will be awarded to all, along with First, Second, and Third prizes in each category. Consolation & Participation prizes will also be given. The categories will include: Eminent and Senior Artists (30+ years), Young Artists, College Students and School Students. 

Shri Chahal appealed to all eminent artists, students, and youth to participate in large numbers. He said “Come, be a part of this historic celebration of the journey of a Viksit Bharat under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister and help make this event a grand success.”
