A.S.A.P. has once again withdrawn from student elections – Even after 11 years, Arvind Kejriwal is not the choice of educated youth – Delhi BJP President

AAP’s withdrawal from student union elections is a personal defeat for Arvind Kejriwal and Saurabh Bharadwaj – Delhi BJP President

Delhi BJP President Mr. Virendra Sachdeva has stated that the announcement by the Aam Aadmi Party’s student wing to not to contest the Delhi University Students’ Union elections is a personal defeat for Arvind Kejriwal and Saurabh Bharadwaj.

Recently, the ABVP won the Punjab University Student Union elections, which was seen as evidence of Punjab’s youth distancing themselves from AAP’s student wing. Now, A.S.A.P. has once again withdrawn from the Delhi University student elections, clearly indicating that even after 11 years, Arvind Kejriwal is not the preferred choice of the educated youth.

The Delhi BJP President added that AAP’s exit from the student union elections is a personal blow to both Arvind Kejriwal and Saurabh Bharadwaj. Over the past few months, Saurabh Bharadwaj held multiple press conferences related to the student wing. He would even wear the A.S.A.P. badge during general political press conferences and had announced plans to contest the elections.

This sudden U-turn by AAP not only signals the growing disconnect between Delhi’s youth and Arvind Kejriwal but also hints at a backdoor alliance with the Congress’s student wing.
