On the occasion of the Prime Minister’s birthday Seva Pakhwada, Delhi BJP leaders and workers participated in the cleanliness drive conducted by the Delhi Government at 71 locations around flyovers.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, State BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, along with MPs, Ministers, MLAs, Municipal Councillors, and BJP workers joined the campaign with personnel from the Public Works Department (PWD) and Municipal Corporation.
 
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta led the cleanliness campaign in the Ring Road area of the Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency.

To mark the “Seva Pakhwada” on the occasion of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday, a massive cleanliness drive was conducted this morning at 71 locations around flyovers in Delhi by the Delhi Government. The drive saw participation from Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta, her ministers, Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva, Delhi MPs, MLAs, senior BJP officials, and Municipal Councillors.
 
In today’s campaign, CM Smt. Rekha Gupta, Minister Shri Ravindra Inderraj Singh, Deputy Leader in the Corporation Shri Jai Bhagwan Yadav, and BJP workers launched a symbolic cleanliness drive near Marina Dream Banquet Hall on Ring Road in her constituency, kicking off a long-term road cleaning initiative.
 
Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva launched a cleanliness campaign at Rose Garden on Ring Road, under the ITO flyover, including the bus stop and surrounding areas. He was joined by Councillor Shri Ramkishore Sharma, Northeast Delhi BJP President Dr. U.K. Chaudhary, and workers from PWD and the Municipal Corporation.
 
At another point on Ring Road near Rajghat bus stop, BJP State General Secretary Shri Pawan Rana launched a symbolic cleanliness campaign along with party workers and local PWD and Municipal staff. Councillor Shri Sandeep Kapoor and State Spokesperson Shri Yasir Jilani were also present.
 
Union Minister of State Shri Harsh Malhotra joined Municipal workers and party workers in cleaning Delhi’s iconic Iron Bridge. Councillor Smt. Renu Chaudhary was also present.
 
MP Shri Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, along with BJP State General Secretary Shri Vishnu Mittal and Councillor Shri Brahma Singh, launched the campaign under Sarai Kale Khan Flyover with BJP workers and local staff from the PWD and Municipal Corporation.
 
MP Shri Yogendra Chandolia started the road cleaning drive from ISBT Kashmere Gate Flyover to Chandgi Ram Akhara, along with Councillor Shri Anil Tyagi and local staff.
 
MP Smt. Kamaljeet Sehrawat, in the presence of BJP State Vice President Smt. Sunita Kangra and MLA Shri Umang Bajaj, launched a symbolic cleanliness campaign under the Naraina Flyover.
 
In South Delhi, under the Safdarjung Enclave and Sarojini Nagar flyovers near the bus stops, BJP Media Head Shri Praveen Shankar Kapoor, South Delhi District President Smt. Maya Bisht, Councillor Shri Arun Bhati, BJP workers, and local PWD and Corporation personnel joined the campaign.
 
BJP Office Secretary Shri Brajesh Rai participated in the cleanliness campaign near Pacific Mall, Pitampura.
MLA Shri Ajay Mahawar, along with Office Co-Secretary Shri Amit Gupta and others, led a campaign behind Red Fort on Ring Road.
 
Delhi Government Ministers joined too:
• Shri Parvesh Sahib Singh in RK Puram,
• Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa at Raja Garden Chowk Ring Road,
• Shri Ashish Sood at Capital College, Raja Garden,
• Dr. Pankaj Singh near Dhaula Kuan Flyover.
 
MLAs’ participation included:
• Shri Satish Upadhyay at AIIMS Flyover,
• Shri Rajkumar Bhatia at Azadpur Flyover,
• Shri Harish Khurana at Moti Nagar Flyover,
• Smt. Shikha Rai in Moolchand South Extension,
• Shri Kailash Gahlot near Motibagh Gurudwara Ring Road,
• Shri Gajendra Yadav around AIIMS Delhi,
• Shri Rajkumar Chauhan near Shalimar Bagh Flyover,
• Shri Ashok Goel at Model Town Flyover,
• Shri Abhay Verma at Cloverleaf ITO Flyover.
 
Most MLAs took part in the cleanliness drives held in their respective constituencies.
 
Other participation included:
• State Vice President Smt. Yogita Singh at Delhi University Campus,
• MLA Shri Anil Sharma and NDMC Member Shri Dinesh Pratap Singh at Moti Bagh,
• Standing Committee Chairperson Smt. Satya Sharma at Pragati Maidan.
 
Delhi BJP Morcha Presidents Shri Sagar Tyagi, Shri Santosh Ojha, Shri Anees Abbasi, Shri Sunil Yadav, Shri C.L. Meena, Shri Vinod Sehrawat, Smt. Richa Pandey Mishra, Shri Mohan Lal Gihara, and other state officials also took part in the campaign.
Speaking to the media after the campaign,
Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva said:
“Delhi is the nation’s capital, and our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has always prioritized cleanliness. That’s why today, under ‘Seva Pakhwada’, our MPs, MLAs, and party workers across Delhi are engaged in cleanliness drives.”
He added:
“This should not be a one-day event. If we truly want a clean and beautiful Delhi, cleanliness must become an integral part of our daily lives.”
He further appealed:
“Delhi is home to people from various states who live and work here with their families. I urge everyone — if you really want to make Delhi the heart of the nation, keep your surroundings clean. Everyone must contribute to this cause.”
