The Luv Kush Ramlila began with the Ganesh Puja and the Ravana-Vedavati dialogue.

The Luv Kush Ramlila Committee's play began today at the Red Fort grounds with the Ganesh Puja on a grand, three-story set of the Somnath Temple, illuminated with LED lights. Arjun Kumar, Chairman of the Luv Kush Ramlila Committee, and Union Minister Harsh Malhotra and National Commission for Scheduled Tribes Chairman Kishore Makwana were special guests on the occasion. The play, which began with the Ganesh Puja and continued with the Ravana-Vedavati dialogue, was accompanied by a Tulsidas play and Valmiki's narration of the Ramayana to Luv Kush. The ground was packed by evening on the very first day of the performance. According to Arjun Kumar, tomorrow, Tuesday, the play will feature the birth of Ram, the birth of a son, the yagna (religious ritual), Vishwamitra's interruption of the yagna, the killing of Tataka, and the killing of Subahu.

According to General Secretary Subhash Goyal, the Leela was staged using AI technology and high-tech digital system and was telecast live on many TV channels in India and abroad.
