Paramahamsa Parivrajak Dandi Swami Shri Govindananda Saraswati Ji Maharaj reached the ancient Hanuman temple located on Tughlak Road where he performed puja as per the rituals.

The temple priest present on the occasion welcomed Swami Shri Govindananda Saraswati Ji on his arrival at the temple. After performing puja in the temple, Swami Shri Govindananda Saraswati Ji said that it is a coincidence that whatever the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, B.R. Gavai, said about Lord Narayana, must have made him introspect, and then by coming to the Hanuman temple this morning and performing puja, he proved that sometimes mistakes happen, but in our Sanatan Dharma, forgiveness is considered a very special virtue. When a mistake is committed, a virtuous person tries to correct it. He further said that in Sanatan Dharma, revered saints, Mahatmas and Acharyas always work to correct such people and give them guidance; this is the greatness of our Sanatan Dharma.

Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati's political campaign in Bihar, claiming to be Shankaracharya, and seeking votes in the name of the cow, is a blatant violation of the dignity of Sanatan Dharma, the Indian judicial system, and religious traditions. It is a matter of grave concern that a person declared a fugitive by the courts is misleading the public in the name of religion and spirituality.

It should be noted that Abhimukteshwarananda is not a legitimate Shankaracharya. The Supreme Court imposed a ban on him in 2022. The Maharashtra government also vehemently refused to recognize him as Shankaracharya. A Varanasi court issued a non-bailable warrant and a confiscation order, declaring him a fugitive. Furthermore, criminal cases are pending against him in several states, including Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Serious allegations of financial fraud worth ?363 crore, fraud by creating fake shell companies, and betrayal of public trust have also surfaced.

On the one hand, for a person embroiled in such scandals to enter election campaigns and misuse the dignity of a saint for political gain is not only an insult to religion but also a question mark on democracy. Sanyas means renunciation, spiritual practice, and guidance to society. A monk's religion is worship and social service, not power and electoral politics. The so-called "Gau Mata-Rashtra Mata Abhiyan" being run by Abhimukteshwaranand is merely a ploy to escape his criminal cases, not genuine religious service.

In this regard, the Honorable Chief Justice and the Government of India are urged to immediately arrest Abhimukteshwaranand and take the strictest possible action against him. As long as such individuals continue to openly misuse their religious positions, confusion will continue to spread in society and faith will continue to be hurt.

Attention was also drawn to another serious issue. The Sanatani community has strongly protested the casting of a controversial actress as "Mandodari" in a recent play staged in Delhi. It was clearly stated that only qualified, ascetic, and religious individuals should have the right to play the role of Lord Shri Ram, Mother Sita, or any other Sanatan deity. It has become fashionable these days for people to sit on the Vyas Peetha (the seat of spiritual practice) without prior study and spiritual practice, or to play religious characters in serials and dramas, thus tarnishing the dignity of religion. This trend must be stopped.

Meanwhile, the historic Sharada Navratri festival is being held in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. This will be the first time since the revocation of Article 370 that such a large-scale religious event will be held there. Special prayers will be offered at several pilgrimage sites, including Sharada Peetha, Kheer Bhawani Mata Temple, and the Shankaracharya Temple. The foundation stone of a new Ganesha temple will be laid in Kulgam in the presence of 500 Kashmiri Pandits. This event is considered a historic step towards the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits and the restoration of Sanatan faith.

The press conference also stated that Kashmir is the brain of our nation's body. Unless Kashmir is healthy and secure, India cannot be fully healthy. The original shrine of Sharda Mata, located in PoK, is deeply sacred to India's eternal tradition. The time has come for the government to take concrete steps toward reintegrating PoK into India.
