Rajyogini Avadhesh Didi, a spiritual scholar in Madhya Pradesh, is no more.

- 75-year-old Rajyogini Avadhesh Didi, Director of the Brahma Kumaris Bhopal Zone, has passed away.

- After meeting Brahma Baba, the founder of the Brahma Kumaris, she dedicated her life to social service.

Bhopal. 75-year-old Rajyogini Avadhesh Didi, the founder of the Bhopal Zone and the founder of the Brahma Kumaris, who sowed the seeds of spirituality in Madhya Pradesh, passed away. She breathed her last at 12:15 pm on September 19th while undergoing treatment at Bansal Hospital, Bhopal. She had been on a ventilator for two days and had been in poor health for the past year. Upon receiving the news of her passing, the Brahma Kumaris family was in mourning. Thousands of Brahma Kumaris brothers and sisters are practicing Rajyoga for the peace of her soul. Her journey to Baikunthi will depart from the Brahma Kumaris' zonal headquarters, Rajyoga Bhavan in Arera Colony, on Saturday, September 20th, at 11 a.m. The last rites will be performed at the Muktidham in Subhash Nagar at 1 p.m.

Born on August 16, 1950, in Shamsabad, Agra, Uttar Pradesh, Rajyogini Avadhesh Didi was imbued with devotion from childhood. Seeing her unwavering faith, devotion, and belief in God, her parents decided she would become a Sadhvi. She was interested in social service and patriotism from childhood. With her unwavering devotion to spirituality, she dedicated her entire life to social welfare, social service, and global well-being. In 2010, she was honored with the Kiran Lifetime Achievement Award, a national women's excellence award. This award was jointly presented by the Women's International Network, India Nirman Kendra, and the Yoga Federation of India for her service to humanity.

The direction of her life changed after meeting Brahma Baba -

In 1965, she first came into contact with the Brahma Kumaris in Agra. Subsequently, she began studying Raja Yoga as a regular student of the institute. She was deeply influenced by the first Chief Administrator, Mateshwari Jagadamba Saraswati. In 1968, she met Brahma Kumaris founder Brahma Baba for the first time in Mount Abu. She was so impressed by Baba's ascetic and inspiring life that she immediately took a vow of celibacy and resolved to follow the path of spirituality for life. Following Brahma Baba's instructions, she then traveled to Bhopal, where she spread the message of spirituality throughout the state.

500 daughters became Brahma Kumaris, 300 service centers opened -

Avadhesh Didi's loving care, tireless hard work, dedication, and perseverance are the reason she established more than 300 service centers in various districts of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Through these service centers, more than one lakh people are living their lives on the path of spirituality. Additionally, under your guidance at these service centers, more than 500 daughters have dedicated their lives to social service.

Currently, you were the Regional Director of Madhya Pradesh and the National Coordinator of the Administrative Services Division. You addressed numerous national and international conferences as a keynote speaker on various spiritual and social topics. Under your leadership, more than 500 national and international events were organized.

Worked for women's empowerment and farmers in the state -

Rajyogini Avadhesh Didi has worked across the state on issues ranging from women's empowerment to drug de-addiction, water conservation, environmental protection, and farmers. Under your leadership, hundreds of drug de-addiction and farmer empowerment campaigns were launched in the state. Numerous stress management workshops were also organized for those in the administrative services sector.
