Village Sarpanch gave application to SDM to close the factory

Sarpanch Ravindra Bhabhor of Gram Panchayat Dhundka of Jhabua Meghnagar development block has given an application to Sub-Divisional Officer Mrs. Ritika Patidar demanding closure of the factory in protest against polluted water coming out of Pashupati Agonik Private Limited Katha Factory.

Village Sarpanch told in the application given to SDM that tube wells and wells have been constructed by PHE department for drinking water facility, from which drinking water is provided to the villagers.

The contaminated water extracted from the Katha factory, which has been operating for years in ward number 4 of Nagar Parishad Meghnagar, flowing through the drain is contaminating the drinking water in several villages including Dundka, Phuledi, Panchkui, Nahargarh, Jamniya, Dhadhaniya, due to which the villagers and cattle are facing drinking water problem. Village Panchayat Sarpanch Bhabor, showing seriousness, has demanded the SDM to close the factory.

And he has said that if appropriate action is not taken in time, then we will be forced to launch an agitation, for which the entire responsibility will be of the administration.
