Video went viral on social media, two policemen suspended

Datia. As soon as a video went viral on social media, there was a stir in the police department. In the video, some private people are seen dancing with a woman in objectionable attire. During this, the presence of Acting Sub Inspector Sanjeev Gaur and Constable Rahul Bauddh (668), Police Station Civil Line was found prima facie.

In view of the seriousness, Superintendent of Police Suraj Kumar Verma suspended both the policemen with immediate effect and attached them to Police Line Datia. It has been mentioned in the order that this act is against the police conduct rules and tarnishes the image of the department.

During the suspension period, both will be paid only subsistence allowance. The Superintendent of Police clearly indicated that indiscipline and acts that hurt the reputation of the department will not be tolerated at any level.
