Sanjeevan Hospital & National Medical Forum Felicitate 106-Year-Old Former ACP, Sh. Baldev Raj Dutta, Celebrating the ‘Will to Live’

Sanjeevan Hospital, Daryaganj, in association with the National Medical Forum (NMF), organized a special felicitation ceremony today to honour the extraordinary resilience and spirit of Sh. Baldev Raj Dutta (aged 106 years).

Sh. Dutta is a living embodiment of the honorable will to live. Having served the nation with distinction, he rose to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police and was entrusted with the responsibility of serving as the personal security officer to former Prime Minister, Late Smt. Indira Gandhi. His life reflects a rare combination of courage, service, and an indomitable willpower that continues to inspire across generations.

The event was graced by Sh. Robin Hibu, Special Commissioner of Delhi Police, as Guest of Honour, and hosted by Dr. Prem Aggarwal, Managing Director, Sanjeevan Hospital and President, National Medical Forum, along with senior consultants Dr. Manav Aggarwal, Dr. Mrigakshi Aggarwal, and Dr. Shikhar Verma.

Despite his age, Sh. Dutta symbolizes the will to live—the deep inner drive that sustains the human spirit against illness, frailty, and adversity. His journey exemplifies how resilience, faith, and strength can help one endure and flourish even past a century of life.

Speaking at the occasion, Dr. Prem Aggarwal said, “Honouring Sh. Baldev Raj Dutta is a tribute not only to his personal journey but also to the universal human spirit that refuses to surrender, no matter the odds. His life is a beacon of hope for patients and families battling illness and adversity.”

The felicitation reflects the shared commitment of Sanjeevan Hospital and the National Medical Forum to celebrate resilience, longevity, and the dignity of life.
