Meghnagar Women and Child Development Department, Madhya Pradesh is organizing special eye test camps in the entire state giving priority to the safety of the health of Anganwadi workers and assistants.

In this sequence, eye tests of Anganwadi workers and assistants above 40 years of age were organized at the Community Health Center of Meghnagar. Prior to this, Anganwadi workers and assistants were registered. Giving information about this, Project Officer Mrs. Rakhi Baria said that keeping in mind the order received from the department, eye tests of Anganwadi workers and assistants are being conducted so that the workers and assistants can get relief from eye problems and they can get the right information and treatment on time. This initiative of the department is very important from the health point of view because the role of Anganwadi workers and assistants is very important in providing nutrition, health and education services to children, pregnant women and lactating mothers. Regular eye tests and timely treatment not only improve their health, but also increase their work efficiency and confidence. Meghnagar BMO Dr. Vinod Nayak told that a letter was given by the Women and Child Development Department regarding eye test. Keeping this in mind, eye test was done today by eye assistant Kailash Munia. Those who have any problem have been provided with appropriate glasses numbers and advice was also given for further treatment. The eye doctors present in the camp also provided information about eye protection, regular checkup, nutritious diet, and awareness about the effects of mobile screen or excessive/near vision work on the eyes. In the eye test, the eye test of the workers and assistants of Hatya Delhi, Meghnagar Rambhapur etc. was done. Along with this, eye test will also be organized in Madrani, in which the eye test of the workers and assistants of Madli, Madrani will be done. On this occasion, supervisor Priyanka Gamar, Reva Garwal, Archana Sanket, Jenisha along with the staff of Women and Child Development and Community Health Center Meghnagar were present.
