On the occasion of Independence Day, a group of migrants from Uttarakhand participated in the program organized at Red Fort in New Delhi in traditional attire.

On the occasion of 79th Independence Day, a group of migrants from Uttarakhand participated in the program organized at Red Fort in New Delhi in traditional attire. During this, the group gave a grand display of Uttarakhand's culture and traditional costumes.

Like every year, groups of migrant residents from all the states of the country were invited to the Independence Day celebrations organized at Red Fort. Under the aegis of Uttarakhand Resident Commissioner's Office, New Delhi, Uttarakhand residents living in Delhi were invited to participate in this program.

On this occasion, a 21-member migrant Uttarakhandi team participated in the Independence Day celebrations in traditional attire with zeal and enthusiasm. The members of the group said that representing the state of Uttarakhand on the occasion of Independence Day at a historic and sacred land like Red Fort, from where the Prime Minister of the country addresses the nation, is an unforgettable and proud moment of their life.

The members also said that this was not only an opportunity to showcase the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Uttarakhand, but also a golden opportunity to connect with the people of other states of the country and share their heritage. Everyone expressed unanimously that they will continue to highlight the identity of their state on the national stage by participating in such events in the future.

In the program, Nodal Officer / Information Officer Mr. Kundan Kumar and Mr. Shiv Gupta, Investment Commissioner Office and Uttarakhand Film and Drama Institute President Mrs. Sanyogita Dhyani led the team in which Mrs. Riya Sharma, Mrs. Kokila Gaur, Mrs. Pushpa Devli, Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Sharma, Mrs. Bina Dhoundiyal, Mrs. Anju Purohit, Mrs. Kiran, Mrs. Santosh Badoni, Mrs. Himali, Mrs. Manju Bhatt, Mr. Deendayal, Mr. Ankit Singh, Mr. Rampal, Mr. Dharmendra Prasad, Mr. Ravindra Singh Rawat etc. were present.
