Independence Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Medical College

At Datia Medical College, the 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The chief guest and Dean, Dr. Deepak S. Maravi, hoisted the national flag. In his address, he highlighted the college’s achievements over the past year and reaffirmed the commitment to providing progressively better medical facilities to the public. He inspired all doctors to work with dedication and a spirit of service. He also expressed happiness over the high number of surgeries and OPD services provided to the public in the past year.

On the theme of patriotism, students of the college presented several cultural performances, and outstanding presentations were awarded. Doctors and staff members of the college also gave patriotic performances. Shri Hitendra Nikhra, son of Shri Prabhu Dayal Nikhra, who had pledged to donate his body to the medical college, was honored on the occasion.

The Dean also felicitated officers and employees who had performed exceptionally well by presenting them with appreciation certificates. This was followed by the inauguration of the “Wall of Fame” at the medical college by Dean Dr. Maravi.

The program was conducted by Dr. Meenu Bakna and Dr. Ranjana Sharma, while the vote of thanks was proposed by the event’s nodal officer, Dr. Abhishek Mehta.

The event was attended by Medical Superintendent Dr. Arjun Singh, Dr. Vivek Verma, Dr. Tribhuvan Singh, Dr. Sameer Sathe, Dr. Anil Mangeshkar, Dr. Rajesh Gupta, Dr. Shweta Yadav, Dr. Abhishek Sharma, Dr. K.N. Arya, Dr. Anand Bhadkariya, Dr. Sachin Yadav, Dr. Hemant Jain, Dr. Manoj Sharma, Dr. Mukesh Rajput, Dr. Amita Sharma, Dr. Nidhi Agrawal, Dr. Manohar Bhatia, Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Dr. Mukesh Sharma, along with all doctors, nursing officers, college staff, and a large number of medical students.
