Rakesh Tikait reached Indore to intensify the movement against land acquisition

Indore. Bharatiya Kisan Union national spokesperson Rakesh Tikait reached Indore and met the farmers affected by Indore-Budhni railway line, outer ring road and other development projects. Tikait said in clear words that "Your and our fight is the same. We are with you, you fight with us." During this, farmer leaders alleged that the BJP government of Madhya Pradesh is constantly ignoring the interests of farmers and is doing injustice to farmers by giving minimum compensation in land acquisition.

Farmer leaders welcomed Rakesh Tikait in the meeting held at the residence of late Rameshwar Patel 'Nandi Complex', Bicholi Mardana. On this occasion, All India Congress Committee National Secretary Satyanarayan Patel, farmer leader Radheshyam Patel, Hansraj Mandloi and many farmer leaders were present.

Hansraj Mandloi said in his press release that in the meeting, the issue of land acquisition in projects like Indore-Budhni railway line, Outer Ring Road, Indore-Manmad railway line, Simhastha Kumbh Mela area Ujjain, Vikrampuri Udyog Nagari and Green Field was discussed in detail. All the leaders decided to form a coordination committee which will prepare the outline of a big movement in future.

On this occasion, Tikait said, "The land acquisition law brought by the Congress was farmer friendly, but the present government has overturned it. This is causing injustice to the farmers. We will together organize a big movement against this anti-farmer government in Delhi, Bhopal and now in Indore too."

The family of late Rameshwar Patel also pledged to support the movement with body, mind and money. Tikait said that along with Satyanarayan Patel, he will meet all the MPs and will also raise these issues in the Lok Sabha.

A large number of farmers from Indore and surrounding districts, including farmers Anandilal Bhuchala, Kamal Chaudhary, Dinesh Bhagwan, Vikram Chaudhary, Gaurav Patel, Rahul Patel, who are affected by the Outer Ring Road, attended the meeting.
