The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of the Crime Branch has successfully apprehended one cheater who was absconding for 9 years in a Cheating case of Rohini, Delhi.
BRIEF FACTS & INCIDENT DETAILS: -
Nawal Kishore @ Vinod S/o Kallu Singh R/o Utsav Residency, Rohini, Delhi, aged 54 years, was absconding from trial and had been declared Proclaimed Absconder in FIR No. 618/2013, U/S 420/468/471/34 IPC, PS Aman Vihar, Delhi by the Rohini Courts in the year 2016.
OPERATIONAL STRATEGY AND EXECUTION: -
As part of the ongoing intensified drive to locate and apprehend absconding criminals, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) team undertook a focused intelligence-gathering operation targeting Nawal Kishore @ Vinod. This development came after Head Constable (HC) Vikrant Dahiya received actionable and credible information regarding the movements of this long-absconding accused. According to reliable sources, it was learnt that the suspect had been seen frequenting certain localities within the jurisdiction, suggesting a potential opportunity to track and intercept him.
Upon gathering this input, the information was immediately communicated to senior officers and an operational team was quickly assembled to plan and execute the mission.
The team comprised of HC Vikrant Dahiya, who had received the initial lead, along with HC Parmod and HC Gulshan. The operation was led on the ground by Inspector Nitesh Kumar and operated under the close supervision and guidance of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Raj Kumar of the ANTF. Each member of the team was briefed on the plan and their roles in the coordinated effort to intercept the suspect without allowing any opportunity for escape or resistance.
The operational team put their strategy into motion. A well-calculated trap was laid at a strategic location based on further intelligence inputs and movement tracking. The suspect, Nawal Kishore @ Vinod, walked into the trap and was successfully apprehended by the team, marking the end of his absconding status.
This successful operation stands as a testament to the relentless commitment and professionalism of the ANTF team and the Delhi Police Crime Branch. It highlights the persistent efforts in pursuing justice, ensuring that those who attempt to escape the law are eventually brought to justice and held accountable. The case further demonstrates how coordinated intelligence, swift action, and team cohesion are key to cracking down on fugitives and maintaining law and order in the city.
