MISSING GIRL TRACED BY THE WESTERN RANGE -1 CRIME BRANCH OF DELHI POLICE

INTRODUCTION:
In yet another example of the Delhi Police’s steadfast commitment to protecting vulnerable members of society, the WR-1 team of the Crime Branch has successfully traced and rescued a 17-year-old missing girl from Deep Enclave, Vikas Nagar, Delhi. The operation showcased the department’s unwavering determination, professionalism, and readiness to go the extra mile for public safety.
DETAILS OF THE CASE:
On 11.08.2025, a complaint was received regarding a missing girl,Sainik Enclave, Vikas Nagar, Delhi. She had been reported kidnapped vide FIR No. 22/25 dated 09.01.2025, U/s 137(2) BNS, PS Ranhola, Delhi.
Recognizing the urgency and sensitivity of the matter—especially given the victim’s age and gender—the Crime Branch took immediate action. Minors, particularly young girls, face a higher risk of falling prey to abduction, trafficking, and exploitation. Such cases demand swift, skilled, and dedicated intervention—something Delhi Police officers are trained and committed to deliver.
TEAM & OPERATION:
On the directions of senior officers, a dedicated team comprising of W/ASI Narinder Kaur and HC Vinod, led by Inspector Sandeep Yadav, under the close supervision of ACP/WR-1 and the overall supervision of Sh. Harsh Indora, DCP/Crime-III, was tasked with the mission.
The team meticulously collected inputs, employed advanced technical surveillance, and combined it with intensive ground-level intelligence work. The team learnt that the victim had shifted from Noida, UP, to Deep Enclave, Vikas Nagar, Delhi. Despite the challenges of searching in a high-density locality, the police conducted door-to-door checks in over 100 rented houses until they located the girl at a house in Deep Enclave, Vikas Nagar.
ACTION TAKEN:
The girl was rescued safely and brought to PS Ranhola, Delhi, under the custody of W/ASI Narinder Kaur. She was reunited with her parents after the completion of necessary legal formalities.
CONCLUSION:
This successful operation is yet another testament to the Delhi Police’s dedication to the safety, dignity, and well-being of every citizen. The Crime Branch continues to stand as a shield for the vulnerable, ensuring that every effort is made to protect lives, restore peace to families, and uphold public trust.
