Electricity company installed 6773 new transformers

Under the important scheme of the government RDSS, MP West Zone Electricity Distribution Company has installed 6773 new transformers in fifteen districts till the end of July. About four hundred transformers have been installed in Indore city and about 1100 in Indore district. Company's Managing Director Anoop Kumar Singh said that these transformers of 100 KVA capacity have been installed to increase the capacity of a particular area, reduce the load of existing transformers, meet the electricity demand of the coming years, reduce line loss, supply and quality of the agricultural sector, increase the facilities of the population, industrial and commercial sector. Mr. Singh said that transformers have also been installed to separate the supply from the mix feeder in remote areas, so that the populated area can be supplied 24 hours and the agricultural sector can be supplied 10 hours daily with quality electricity.

Preparation for double supply to Annapurna Grid

Indore. Double supply arrangement is being made to the 33/11 KV grid located in Annapurna Zone Chanakyapuri of the city. For this, a new 33 KV line is being installed from Rau 132 KV ultra high pressure grid to Annapurna grid. Under this work, the work of installing dog conductor was done from Chanakyapuri to Gopur Chauraha on Thursday afternoon. Work is being done on about three and a half kilometer new 33 KV line.
