Mahesh Chandra - Delhi
In a major stride towards curbing organized crime, the Southern Range of the Crime Branch, Delhi Police, has arrested a notorious habitual offender, wanted in multiple heinous crimes and declared a Proclaimed Offender by the Hon’ble Court.

Operation and Arrest
Acting on a specific intelligence input, a swift and strategic operation was launched by a team comprising ASI Vijumon, HC Arvind, and W/Ct Shobha, led by Inspector Vijay Pal Dahiya. The team tactfully tracked and apprehended the accused near the service road of Select City Walk Mall, Saket, Delhi. The arrested accused has been identified as Neeraj Sharma @ Rajkumar @ Vinay Maurya @ Raju Age 49 years, Resident of Govind Puri, Delhi.
He had been declared a Proclaimed Offender in a case of Motor Vehicle theft registered at PS Madhu Vihar, in which he had stolen a Hyundai Creta car.  He was evading arrest since a considerable period.

Extensive Criminal Record
The arrested individual is a hardened and repeat offender, found to be involved in over 50 serious criminal cases across Delhi and neighbouring states.  He consistently changed his identity upon each arrest to prevent law enforcement from linking him to his extensive criminal history.  His long list of crimes includes:
• Murder

• Robbery

• Theft
• Possession of Illegal Arms
He has also been previously convicted in cases of Murder and Extortion. Further legal proceedings are being carried out.
