ONE DESPERATE CRIMINAL ARRESTED BY THE STAFF OF PP SAFDARJUNG HOSPITAL, PS S.J. ENCLAVE, SOUTH WEST DISTRICT.

ACCUSED FLAUNTED ILLEGAL FIREARMS ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO CREATE DOMINANCE AND FEAR IN THE AREA.
ONE ILLEGAL COUNTRY MADE PISTOL WITH ONE LIVE CARTRIDGE & ONE STOLEN MOTORCYCLE RECOVERED.

The staff of PP Safdarjung Hospital, PS S.J. Enclave, South West District has arrested one desperate criminal namely Naushad @ Khan R/o Harinagar Ashram, Delhi, Age 19 years. With his arrest, one illegal country made pistol with one live cartridge and one stolen motorcycle were recovered.

INFORMATION, TEAM & ARREST:

To curb crime and ensure a safe environment for the citizens of the South West District, various initiatives are being regularly undertaken to control criminal activities, with the objective of ensuring a safe and secure environment. Pinning down criminals, averting untoward, incidents, allowing no illegal guns, with this mandate, the operation - "No Guns, No Gangs" was flagged off in South West District. Accordingly, a dedicated team under the leadership of Insp. Rajnesh Kumar, SHO/Safdarjung Enclave, comprising SI Jitendra Kumar, I/C PP Safdarjung Hospital, HC Pushpendra, HC Anil, HC Rajender, HC Netram, Ct. Sandeep and Ct. Sunil was constituted under the supervision Sh. Ranbir Singh, ACP/Sub-Division Safdarjung Enclave to nab the active criminals. Local intelligence and technical inputs were developed & monitored the social media platforms.

On 18.07.25, the team got secret information that a person is seen on social media, roaming near Safdarjung hospital factory road on a Yamaha R15 motorcycle. Acting swiftly, a raiding party was prepared and a trap was laid near gate No. 7 Factory Road, Safdarjung hospital, Delhi. After some time, a suspicious person was seen on a Yamaha R15 motor cycle, coming from ring road. After seeing the police party, he tried to turn back & flee, but the vigilant staff caught the suspected person after a brief & an audacious chase. During enquiry, his name was revealed as Naushad @ Khan R/o Harinagar Ashram, Delhi, Age 19 years. Suspected person used social media to get fame & create terror in the society. One Desi katta along with one live cartridge was recovered from the possession. During investigation, the accused disclosed that he had stolen this motorcycle from Hauz khas area and on enquiry this motorcycle was found stolen in case E-FIR No. 13229/2025 u/s 305(B) BNS, PS Hauz khas, Delhi. Accordingly, a case vide case FIR No. 269/2025 u/s 25 Arms Act was registered at PS Safdarjung Enclave and accused Naushad @ Khan was arrested in this case.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED:

Accused Naushad @ Khan R/o Harinagar Ashram, Delhi, Age 19 years is previously involved in FIR No. 345/25 u/s 25/27 Arms Act & 125 BNS, PS Punjabi Bagh, Delhi. He previously resided at Jhuggi Arjun Das Camp Laxmi Bai Nagar, Delhi.

RECOVERY:

1. One illegal country made pistol with one live cartridge.

2. One stolen motorcycle.

1. E-FIR No. 13229/2025 u/s 305(B) BNS, PS Hauz khas, Delhi.

2. FIR No. 269/2025 u/s 25 Arms Act, PS Safdarjung Enclave, Delhi.

Further investigation is under progress.
