New Delhi, Income Tax Commissioner (New Delhi) Rajesh Chandra (IRS) was honored by the Honorable Finance Minister of India, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, in a dignified ceremony today for his remarkable contribution to the Income Tax Department of the Government of India. This award was given to him for his excellent work in the department, administrative efficiency and effective implementation of tax reforms.

Smt. Sitharaman said on this occasion that the loyalty and dedication of the officers towards work takes the credibility of the Income Tax Department to new heights. She also mentioned that the leadership ability and transparent functioning of the officers has increased the trust among the taxpayers.
