Uday Samajik Vikas Sanstha organized the program 'Away from Drugs is Necessary'

Thandla Uday Samajik Vikas Sanstha Badi Dhamni organized a session for the 15-day drug-free campaign in Saint Joseph High School, village Badi Dhamni, under the chairmanship of Principal Sister Sukanti, for about 450 children. Uday Sanstha Badi Dhamni's staff and program coordinator Khaleda Syed organized a school session in which all the children were informed about sexual harassment and sections of law and protection under the POCSO Act, Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012 and the 15-day drug-free campaign. Along with this, the school children were sworn in to be drug-free. In an interface meeting organized with the police department, a total of 9 members of the Gram Raksha Samiti and staff met with Sub-Divisional Officer of Police Neeraj Namdev in Thandla and the coordinator Khaleda Syed gave information about the introduction, work, creation report, drug-free campaign and about Uday Sanstha. Information was shared about making ID cards of members by linking them with the Gram Raksha Samiti. The sub-divisional officer told that the members who are applying should also cooperate with the police department from time to time. Khaleda Syed, after meeting with the police station in-charge Ashok Kanesh, shared information about the introduction and work of the organization, Gender Based Violence Project, Srijan. While appreciating the work of the organization, she interacted with the Gram Raksha Samiti members and discussed about always working together and social conservatism traditions. With the help of the organization and Gram Raksha Samiti members, 50 forms from three villages were submitted for making ID cards. A meeting was held with Additional Superintendent of Police Pratipal Singh Mahobiya Sir in District Jhabua. The works of Uday Sanstha were explained in detail by Coordinator Khaleeda Syed. Responsible manliness and creativity were praised and assurance was given to participate in the activities and programs from time to time. A meeting was held with District Legal Services Authority Officer Jaydev Manik and a discussion was held with him about timely participation in the activities being conducted by the organization and for the public dialogue program. Assurance was given to participate in the activities on getting information 2 days in advance. The campaign will go on for 15 consecutive days!
