A GOLD JEWELLERY THEFT CASE OF 20 LAKH WORKOUT

• ?A NOTORIOUS THIEF (BC OF PS GANDHI NAGAR) ARRESTED 
• ONE AUTO RICKSHAW AND 11,000/- CASH RECOVERED.
 
INTRODUCTION
With the arrest of a notorious robber namely Wasim @ Bandar, the team of ARSC, Crime Branch has worked out a case of theft of gold jewellery worth 20 Lakhs occurred with a couple who boarded the auto of the accused from Sarai Kale Khan Bus Terminal on the morning of 27.06.25. 
The Criminal has been identified as Wasim @ Chhote @ Bandar S/o Rashid R/o Gandhi Nagar, Delhi age 49 Yrs. The accused along with his associates drives autos and make the target passengers board his auto from Sarai Kale Khan Bus Terminal. Thereafter, he stops his auto midway on the pretext of break down and calls his associates who are already following him in other auto, 2-3 of them sitting behind posing as passengers. Thereafter, the passengers were transferred from his auto into the auto of his associates and made to sit tightly with already sitting associates posing as passengers. Thereafter, the associates who are sitting behind with the target passengers steal the articles from the luggage of the target passengers. 
 
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION
On 10.07.2025, on a secret information developed through technical and manual intelligence a team of ARSC comprising SI Amit Chaudhary, ASI Ravinder Bhati, HC Jitender Kumar, HC Manoj Kumar, HC Devender, HC Sachin Baliyan and HC Sachin Kalkhandey led by Insp. Arun Sindhu and under the supervision of Sh. Arvind Kumar ACP/ARSC Crime Branch arrested accused namely Wasim @ Chhote @ Bandar S/o Rashid R/o Gandhi Nagar, Delhi age 49 Yrs who is an active member of a gang which ferry passengers from the different bus terminals of Delhi during wee hours. They stop their auto midway on the pretext of breakdown and made them sit in other auto already having passengers, who are actually their associates. On the way they either rob the passengers of their belonging or steals their valuable articles like jewellery from their luggage.

• e-FIR No.80063974/25, dated 07.07.2025, u/s 303 (2) BNS, PS Anand Vihar, Delhi
 
RECOVERY
• One auto No.DL1RV-42XX, used in the commission of offence.
• Rs.11,000/- cash. 
Further efforts are in progress to identify other similar incident committed by this gang and to apprehend the other accused persons.
