Jhabua A district level review meeting of Women and Child Development Department and Health Department was organized under the chairmanship of Collector Neha Meena.

In the review of Women and Child Development Department in the meeting, Collector Neha Meena was informed that in the new malnutrition identification in the district, 622 children are from 402 Anganwadi centers, 44 Anganwadi centers have more than 2 malnourished children, 476 obesity has been identified and 115 children are on migration. Along with this, the NRC report of the last three months was also reviewed. Collector Neha Meena said that under Malnutrition Free Jhabua, orientation of new CDPOs posted in the district should be done and all should work actively. During the review of Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, the Collector expressed displeasure over only 55 percent progress and directed to review the project wise and give notice to the bottom 4 supervisors of every project. The collector said that under the Matru Vandana Yojana, information of pregnant women should be entered on the portal on priority basis, daily monitoring should be done, in case of technical problems, the district team should help the supervisor. Also, the supervisor who did good work was asked about how progress was made. Apart from this, the THR given to pregnant women, lactating women and children registered through Ladli Laxmi Yojana Poshan Tracker was reviewed. The collector directed in the meeting that the groups providing food should be inspected at the Anganwadi centers, in which it should be ensured that quality food is provided as per the 3-time menu. Also, the collector directed to inspect all the Anganwadis of the district by putting SDM, Tehsildar and District Officers on duty and inspect and take a report. During the review of the health department, Collector Neha Meena reviewed the ANC registration of pregnant women. On doing good work in Ranapur, information about the action plan was taken from them and instructions were given to bring progress to Petlawad, Meghnagar and Jhabua. ANC registration of pregnant women in the first trimester was 90.6% this year as compared to 88.1% last year. Collector Neha Meena said that to fight malnutrition, it is necessary to pay attention to the pregnant woman from the first trimester itself so that the child born is not malnourished. Therefore, registration of the first trimester should be done seriously in coordination with the Health Department and Women and Child Development Department. During the review, instructions were given to issue notice to the bottom sector supervisor if there is less progress in registration as compared to the target. Along with this, instructions were given to compulsorily register the pregnant women who have missed the registration of the first trimester.

Special attention should be given to high risk pregnant women. The instructions of the Chief Secretary should be followed to reduce IMR, MMR and NNMR in the district. During the review of complete vaccination, instructions were given to issue notice to the supervisors of sectors with less progress. The collector said that wherever necessary, the BMO should schedule the vaccination session and make a schedule and ensure 100% completion.

Dastak Abhiyan 22 July 2025 to 16 September 2025:- Dastak Abhiyan is going to start in the state from 22 July to 16 September 2025, in which a campaign will be run to take care of the health of children. In which pneumonia, malnutrition, anemia, diarrhea and other diseases are to be identified and treated quickly. Collector Neha Meena said that the instructions issued under the campaign should be followed literally and it should be ensured that the instructions are issued to the lower staff as well.

During this, Chief Medical Health Officer Mr. BS Baghel, District Program Officer Women and Child Development Department Mr. RS Baghel, Assistant Director Ajay Chauhan, all BMOs, all CDPOs, Sector Super Supervisors and other employees were present.
