Delhi BJP President Mr. Virendra Sachdeva stated that the investigation into the massive scam that occurred under the guise of classroom construction in government schools during the Arvind Kejriwal administration has now reached a decisive stage. As part of this investigation, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has reportedly conducted raids today at 37 locations connected to various contractors and officials.

Mr. Sachdeva said that the classroom construction scam is an established case, the complaint of which was lodged by Delhi BJP leaders with the Lokayukta and the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB). The investigation has been ongoing for a long time, but under pressure from the Kejriwal government, officials from the Education and Public Works Departments were not providing the required information to the investigating agencies.

In this case, Kejriwal’s former ministers Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain are the main accused. Even while in power, they neither cooperated with the investigation nor associated themselves with inquiry and to this day they continue to evade appearing before the investigating agencies.

The Delhi BJP President further stated that Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain must now realize that no matter what they do, the law has reached their collar and they will soon have to go to jail.
