On the holy land of Mumbai, the industrial capital of the country, the grand event of “Samvad se Samadhan – Ek Paricharcha” based on the principles of Tirthankar Bhagwan Mahavira – non-violence, equality, truth and non-possession was organized in Yashwantrao Chavan Auditorium under the aegis of Mahaveerayatan Foundation. The objective of the event was to determine the direction of social solution through meaningful dialogue between religion, government and society. Especially to make the world aware of the significance of dialogue in the circumstances of war and terrorism.

The inspiration and ideator of this historic event was Swami Devendra Brahmachari, under his guidance this series of inter-religious dialogue became a symbol of new energy, new faith and culture of solution. The chief guest of the event was Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla, who was accompanied by Cabinet Minister of Maharashtra Government Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Rajya Sabha MP and former Union Minister Shri Milind Deora and Chairman of Maharashtra Legislative Council Shri Ram Shinde.

Shri Om Birla said in his address that dialogue conducted with right philosophy, right knowledge and right character is the solution to every problem. When we listen to each other, understand and express our opinions respectfully, only then real solutions are born. This concept also makes our democracy beautiful. When the world is moving towards war and polarization, India considers 'dialogue' as the bridge to solution, this is the strength of our democratic tradition. He described this discussion organized by Mahaveerayatan Foundation as knowledgeable and timely.

Shri Devendra Brahmachari said in his address that when there is compassion in speech, equality in vision and humility in conduct, only then dialogue becomes real and the path to solution opens automatically. The philosophy of Lord Mahavir is still a lighthouse for the society. Solutions through dialogue should not be a slogan but should become a way of life, this is our auspicious feeling. Cabinet Minister Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha said that the values ??which we read only in books, were seen in a live form on the stage today. It is the need of the hour to convey the thoughts of Lord Mahavira to the masses through dialogue. Rajya Sabha MP Shri Milind Deora said that the strength of India lies in its diversity and when this diversity turns into dialogue, only then unity is created. This platform is not only a way of religious but also of social solutions. Legislative Council Chairman Shri Ram Shinde described such events as fostering political ideological purity and social harmony.

This grand event began with lighting of lamps and Mangalacharan in front of the picture of Lord Mahavira. Shri Devendra Brahmachari welcomed the Lok Sabha Speaker with a turban and shawl and strengthened the dignity of Indian culture. Other special guests were welcomed by Shri K.C. Jain, Shri Tarun Kala, Shri Pawan Jain and Shri Mahendra Turkia on behalf of Mahavirayatan Foundation. In the program, great personalities who did special work in the field of social service, education, environment and cultural preservation were honored with 'Samaj Seva Ratna Samman'. Mr. Lalit Garg of Delhi was also specially awarded 'Samaj Samvad Ratna Samman' for his dedicated services for social harmony, dialogue and nation building. The classical musical presentation of Padmashree Dr. Soma Ghosh overwhelmed thousands of listeners present with devotion and emotion. The cultural presentations included short plays, devotional songs and dialogue sessions, which touched the inner soul of the people.

On this occasion, the book "Bharat Gaurav" based on the life and work of Mr. Devendra Brahmachari was released. Along with this, a memorial book of late Mr. Nirmal Kumar Sethi was also released and a heartfelt tribute was paid to him. This event emerged as a strong proof that when dialogue takes place with religion, service and sensitivity, then the solution becomes not only possible but inevitable.
